After a hiatus of two years, our group is back to playing Delta Green. This time, the game starts in 1999 and follows the exploits of Cell R. The other big change (which may not come over in the write-ups) is a change in game system. Instead of using the Call of Cthulhu rules, we're using Arc Dream's One Roll Engine (ORE). The main rules are found in NEMESIS, but we're also using some rules from the Wild Talents Essential Edition.
You can find the write-ups on the new Delta Green campaign write-up page.

Added the most recent version of Phil Pournelle's Standards of Valor. This is a set of Dark Ages rules based on the Stargrunt II rules. You can find it here.
These rules were previously called Blood and Thunder.

I updated the Call of Cthulhu Damage Table. Instead of an HTML table, I replaced it with a PDF file. I also updated some of the entries in the table.
You can find the table on the Damage by Location house rule page on the Call of Cthulhu house rule page.

Our Hârn roleplaying game was replaced by an All Flesh Must Be Eaten zombie game. I posted write-ups for this campaign (which I call "To Live and Die in Louisiana") on the Actual Play forum on RPG.net. I decided to cross-post the write-ups here. That way I have a copy of the write-ups in case something happens to RPG.net. All write-ups will be posted in both locations.
You can find the All Flesh Must Be Eaten write-ups here.
Our next session is scheduled for some time in April.
While I was at it, I added Unisystem and AFMBE links to the link page.

The problem with not running a game on a regular basis is that there's not a lot of incentive to finish game write-ups. These Delta Green write-ups take a lot of time. Without the pressure of an upcoming session, there was always something else in life that took precedence. When February 2 rolled along and I realized we last played the scenario five months ago, I knew I had left the scenario write-up for far too long.
The last session was the September 3 session. This completes the campaign set in hurricane ravaged New Orleans. It is also the last Delta Green scenario write-up, at least for now. The group wanted a bit of a break to try some new games. After an abortive attempt at playing Nobilis, we are now playing an All Flesh Must Be Eaten game and just about to start a Wild Talents campaign.
You can find these and other write-ups on the Modern Day Delta Green write-ups page.

I added maps to my Antietam, Fredericksburg, and Chancellorsville essays. The maps are by Hal Jespersen, a big name in the development of Sun Java. He created a number of maps for the American Civil War battle entries on Wikipedia. As such, the maps are in the public domain. You can see an entire list of his maps at this site: http://www.posix.com/CWmaps/

Almost two years ago I said I was working on a Gettysburg campaign essay for my American Civil War pages. I still am, though I have finished about 40% of it. I was side tracked this year for a number of reasons. First, I decided to write an essay about the cause of the Civil War. This will eventually lead into a Fist Manassas campaign essay, but for now it will stand on its own. I was also working on getting my Vicksburg pictures online. However, I had a hard drive crash that caused me to lose much of my progress. I did get to visit the Chickamauga and Chattanooga battlefields this past summer, so they will (eventually) wind up on the site.
The Cause of the Civil War essay is now online and can be seen here.

It's been a long time since I posted anything to this part of the site, but I finally have the last two sessions of our Hârn game online.
The write-ups are the December 10, 2005 and February 19, 2006 Hârn campaign sessions. You can find all the Hârn campaign write-ups here.
Now that the scenario is complete, the campaign is now on hiatus.

I did update the site over a month ago with the April 29 session of our modern day Delta Green roleplaying game write-ups. However, I was rushed getting that write-up posted and I didn't have a chance to do a good edit pass on it. That's why I didn't mention it.
The Delta Green write-ups are now caught up! Along with an edited version of the April 29 session, the site now has the May 28 and 29 session and the July 22 session. These write-ups continue the campaign set in hurricane ravaged New Orleans.
You can find these and other write-ups on the Modern Day Delta Green write-ups page. Our next game session is tentatively scheduled for September 3, 2006.

I cleaned up a number of broken links on HyperBear.
It's been a while since I posted anything to the site. That will change this week, as I am working on two Delta Green scenario write-ups.
April 28, 2006
I completed the most recent Delta Green write-up just in time. Our next game session is tomorrow. The scenario continues with the characters investigating strange goings-on in hurricane ravaged New Orleans.
You can find the write-up at the Modern Day Delta Green write-ups page. The write-up is for session 3 of Winds of Change. The game was played on April 1, 2006.
March 30, 2006
A shorter than average Delta Green write-up was posted. Neither Jason nor I were feeling well on the game day, so the lethargic session was shorter than usual.
You can find the write-up at the Modern Day Delta Green write-ups page. The write-up is for session 2 of Winds of Change. The game was played on March 18, 2006.
Our next game is scheduled for April 1, 2006.
