Types of Characters

There are two types of characters in roleplaying games: player characters (PCs) and non-player characters (NPCs). Player characters are controlled by the people playing the game (players). NPCs are controlled by the gamemaster (or referee).

• Characters listed in black text are PCs, and the name of the player is found in parentheses after the character's name.
• Characters listed in reddish-brown text are NPCs. NPCs found in Hârn supplements have the source listed in parentheses.
• Characters (PCs and NPCs) that have a line through their names (e.g. King Conan) are dead, missing, retired or are otherwise no longer active as far as the PCs are concerned.

Characters

• Caliglas of Sleed - penny-pinching merchant who plies his trade between the Thardic Republic and Kaldor.
• Reslava Darwyn Aphas - Head priest of the chapel of Peoni in Trobridge.
• Sir Friedlam Dramel - assistant to Sir Rayneld. He is currently training Terlin's mercenaries in military arts.
• Herl of Pherisa - Miller in the town of Trobridge, and S'arnat's uncle.
• Kieran of Boru - Fyvrian Shek-Pvar Satia-Mavari, who worships the goddess Peoni. His home chantry is Gelimo in the Kingdom of Melderyn. He was born on the 30th of Nuzyael, 699 TR, in Thay, Melderyn.
• Kurson Ondailis - Thief, thug, and self proclaimed "Lord of Trobridge".
• Leritek the Blind - Obsessed priest of the god Ilvir.
• Merrick of Larani (Jimmy Pope) - Former star gladiator in the Thardic Republic, who resigned afer he converted to the worship of Larani. Born on 7^th of Morgat, 682 TR, though he's not sure where.
• Nafraniel of Mandunel - Tashal merchant, and friend of Terlin of Wesindan.
• Sir Rayneld Ynel - Leader of the Kaldoran embassy to Trobridge.
• S'arnat of Pherisa (Alana Goodall) - Artist/cartographer who, after being orphaned at an early age, spent her youth shuttled from family member to family member. S'arnat was born in Tashal, Kaldor on the 26^th of Azura, 699 TR, which is just one reason she worships the god Siem.
• Terlin of Wesindan - Owner/innkeeper of Trobridge Inn.
• Captain Vollstrum - Captain in the 3^rd Grongberg Legion, in the army of the Holotian League. The adventurers travelled to the captain's world through a godstone.
