Carhenge

A sunset picture of "carhenge", a "neolithic" monument made of crushed cars, north of Oshawa, Ontario.

Carhenge

Image: A photograph of Carhenge at sunset. Carhenge was a stonehenge-like creation made up of crushed cars, and sat on farm land north of Oshawa, Ontario, Canada. It was created in the late 70s or early 80s for a car commercial (I heard it was for Chrysler, which is ironic as Oshawa has the largest General Motors car assembly plant outside of the U.S.). Unfortunately, it is no longer there.

The picture was photographed with a Nikon FG-20 camera and a Nikon f1.4 50mm lens, in the summer of 1985. Captured on Kodak 200 ASA film.
