Image: 71st Ohio Monument. This is a photograph of the 71st Ohio monument, located on the eastern edge of the battlefield in an area that was used by the Federals as a field hospital location. The field hospitals consisted of a series of tents acquired by Union surgeons to house the wounded.

This photograph was taken in March, 2000 with a Nikon F-601 autofocus SLR, using a Nikkor 24mm - 50mm f2.8 wide angle zoom lens. The image was captured on Fuji ISO 200 film.
